Ask Claude how many reminder calls you have left

No need to open the dashboard to check your balance. Ask Claude how many reminder calls you have left and get the answer in a single sentence.

ReminderIt runs on a pooled monthly call allowance, so knowing where you stand keeps a busy week from running dry mid-month. You do not have to hunt through the dashboard for the number. With Claude connected, a plain question returns your remaining calls, and a second one confirms exactly which account and plan you are looking at.

The quota in plain terms

Every ReminderIt account draws from one pooled monthly allowance. Free gives you 5 calls a month and Pro gives you 70. Crucially, one call means either a voice call or a single outbound WhatsApp fallback message, and both draw from the same pool.

So if you have a chatty week of test calls and a few missed reminders that fell back to WhatsApp, they all come out of the same total. Checking the balance now and then avoids surprises.

Asking for your balance

Say "How many reminder calls do I have left this month?" and Claude reaches for get_usage. It reports the calls you have used, the number remaining, and the current billing period, and Claude sums it up in a sentence rather than a spreadsheet.

You can ask at any granularity: "Am I close to my limit?" or "How many have I used so far?" both map to the same underlying get_usage call.

Confirming which account you are on

If you are ever unsure whether you are on Free or Pro, or which time zone your reminders default to, ask "Which account and plan am I on?" Claude uses whoami, which returns your account identity, plan and configured time zone.

That pairing is handy: whoami tells you the ceiling (Free 5 or Pro 70) and get_usage tells you how much of it is left.

A worked example

Mid-month you wonder if you can add a daily call for the next fortnight. Ask "How many calls are left, and what plan am I on?" Claude runs get_usage and whoami together and might reply that you are on Pro with 41 of 70 calls remaining this period.

From there the decision is easy. Fourteen daily calls fit inside 41 remaining, so you tell Claude to schedule it. If the numbers were tight, you would know to wait for the next period or trim elsewhere.
