Changelog
Release notes for ReminderIt — the notable changes in each version, newest first.
September 19, 2026
- New
Choose how reminders reach you
Settings → Reminders now has a switch for phone calls and one for WhatsApp. Keep both (the default), or turn one off — at least one always stays on so a reminder can never go nowhere.
- New
Call insights
See how your reminders land: answer rate, calls by day, the time of day you're most likely to pick up, and a per-reminder breakdown. Open it from Home, Reminders → History or your account menu.
- New
Reset a forgotten password
Forgot your password? Use 'Forgot?' on the log-in page and we'll email a one-time link to choose a new one — it also signs you out everywhere else for safety.
- New
Public API reference
The ReminderIt API now has a proper home at reminderit.com/developers/api, with ready-to-copy examples, and the spec lives at reminderit.com/openapi.yaml for ChatGPT actions and API tools.
- Improved
A clearer Home screen
Home now sums up your day in one line, shows the next few reminders after the one coming up, merges each call and its WhatsApp follow-up into a single row, and warns you if today's reminders didn't get through.
- Improved
Night-time check is now optional
Asking before a call between midnight and 6 AM is now a setting (off by default) instead of always on — turn it on in Settings → Reminders if you'd like the extra AM/PM safety net.
- Improved
Simple pricing in US dollars
Everyone now sees and pays one price in US dollars through Dodo Payments — Indian and international cards both work. Founders can extend by 2 more years in one tap.
- Fixed
Mobile layouts and the day picker
History, Home and Settings no longer squeeze or overlap on phones, Settings shows every section at once, the light/dark switch is one tap away, and picking a day with nothing left now says so instead of showing an empty card.
September 18, 2026
- New
ReminderIt is WhatsApp-first
Start by sending us a WhatsApp message — no app, no card, no sign-up form. Set, change, pause or cancel reminders in plain words, with tap-to-answer buttons, and log in to the website with WhatsApp instead of SMS codes.
- New
One simple plan with a 7-day free trial
Try everything free for 7 days, then choose monthly, annual or 2 years. Every plan includes 70 reminder calls a month, unlimited WhatsApp reminders, up to 5 people and all voices. Need more calls? Add extra calls anytime.
- New
Voice notes and photos
Send a voice note or a photo of a prescription or appointment card on WhatsApp and ReminderIt turns it into reminders for you to confirm.
- New
Remind the people you care about
Add Mom, Dad or a friend — they accept once, then your reminders reach them too. If they miss a call we try once more, and you can get an alert, plus a weekly summary of how they're doing.
- New
Help, right in the app
A built-in support chat (look for Ringo) answers questions instantly and can hand over to a person. Anonymous chats and sign-in forms are protected by a quick, invisible human check.
- Improved
A redesigned app and website
Four simple places — Home, Reminders, People and Settings — in a warmer, easier-to-read design, with a light theme by default, larger-text option and a brand-new website.
- Improved
Connections in one place
Connect Google (log in and receipts), Google Calendar and Claude or ChatGPT from Settings → Connections.
September 3, 2026
- New
Remind someone, faster
Add a person straight from the reminder form's 'who' picker, or use the new 'Remind someone' shortcut on Home.
- Improved
A proper phone number field
Every phone number field now has a country flag and selector, so numbers are entered correctly the first time.
August 19, 2026
- Improved
Calls to more countries
Reminder calls now reach any normal phone number worldwide — only premium-rate and satellite numbers are blocked.
- Fixed
Phone numbers saved consistently
Numbers are stored in one standard international format when you verify them, fixing rare cases where a reminder couldn't find your number.
August 11, 2026
- New
Reminders on WhatsApp
Every reminder can now also arrive as a WhatsApp message with Done and Snooze buttons — and if you miss a call, WhatsApp carries it so nothing slips.
- New
Middle-of-the-night guard
If a reminder would ring between midnight and 6 AM we check with you first — it's usually an AM/PM mix-up.
- Fixed
No double charge for voicemail
When a call goes to voicemail, the WhatsApp follow-up for that reminder is free — one reminder, one charge.
July 25, 2026
- New
Billing history and invoices
See every payment in Settings → Billing and download invoices, with a one-click link to manage your subscription.
- New
Low-balance alerts
We let you know when your calls are running low, so reminders don't stop unexpectedly.
- Improved
Honest weekly stats and dark mode
The dashboard's answer rate now reflects your real week, with a short explanation, and you can switch between light and dark mode from the sidebar.
- Fixed
Calls that couldn't be placed
If a call can't be placed, the reminder now falls back to a message right away, and blocked destinations show up clearly in your history instead of failing silently.
July 5, 2026
- New
More languages, including 8 Indian languages
Calls can now speak Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali and Gujarati alongside English, Spanish, French and German — preview each voice before you pick it. Reminders are written once and spoken in the call's language.
- New
Email backup, weekly report and referrals
Get an email if you miss a reminder, a weekly summary of your calls, and a free week for every friend who joins and pays.
- Fixed
New sign-ups
Fixed an issue that could stop some new accounts from being created.

- New
Set reminders from Claude and ChatGPT
Connect ReminderIt to Claude or ChatGPT once, then just ask: 'remind me at 9pm to take my tablet'. Developers can also use API keys and the ReminderIt MCP server.
- Improved
Safer sign-in for connected apps
Connecting an AI assistant uses a secure, standard sign-in with a clear consent screen, and only trusted apps can receive access.

- New
WhatsApp inbound — create reminders by messaging us
Send a WhatsApp message to ReminderIt to create, edit, or cancel reminders without opening the app. Just say 'Remind me to take my tablets at 8pm every day' and it's done. You can also ask 'What reminders do I have today?' or 'Cancel my 9am reminder' — all handled conversationally.
- New
Multiple recipients — send reminders to others
Add extra recipients to any reminder so the call or WhatsApp message goes to more than one person. Useful for household reminders, team check-ins, or making sure a family member never misses a dose.
- Improved
Reminder message editor
The reminder creation and edit flow now lets you preview exactly how your message will sound before saving — choose voice, adjust wording, and hear it read back.
June 24, 2026
- New
Per-reminder voice customisation
Every reminder can now have its own voice, personality, language, and speaking rate — independent of your account default. Perfect for multilingual households or different tones for different reminders.
- New
Advanced scheduling: skip days and every-N-days
Skip specific dates on a recurring reminder without deleting it. Or schedule a reminder every 3 days, every 10 days — any custom interval with a precise anchor time.
- New
WhatsApp interactive buttons
When a WhatsApp follow-up arrives after a missed call, you can now tap Done or Snooze directly in the message — no need to open the app.
June 22, 2026
- New
Caregiver mode — reminders for family and patients
Add care recipients to your account and send reminder calls to their phone number. Manage reminders for elderly parents, partners, or patients — all from your own dashboard, with no setup required on their end.
- New
Inbound calls to create reminders
Call the ReminderIt number and speak your reminder to create it instantly. Useful when you can't type, or just prefer to talk it out.
- Improved
WhatsApp chat assistant
Send a message to ReminderIt on WhatsApp to create, list, or manage reminders conversationally. Ask 'What's due today?' or 'Add a reminder to take my medication at 8pm' and it handles the rest.
June 20, 2026
- New
Browser voice channel
Receive reminder calls right in your browser — no phone required. Enable it from voice settings and reminders will ring through your computer's speakers.
- Improved
Voice call analytics
The voice calls page now shows a full history of each call: whether it was answered, how long the call lasted, and whether the WhatsApp fallback was triggered.
June 18, 2026

Improved the consent verification flow for care recipients. Added automatic Done/Snooze buttons to follow-up WhatsApp messages so recipients can act directly from the chat.
