Your first reminder set with a single WhatsApp message
Follow one real message from opening the chat to a confirmed reminder call, so your first WhatsApp reminder takes about thirty seconds.

The best way to learn the WhatsApp channel is to watch a single reminder go from a typed sentence to a booked call. This post is that walkthrough, start to finish, with the exact messages you would see.
The whole thing hinges on one confirmation the assistant always makes: the time and the time zone. Get that right and the rest is automatic.
Before you start
You need your phone number verified on your ReminderIt account, and you message from that same number. If that is done, open the ReminderIt chat in WhatsApp and you are ready.
There is nothing else to configure. You do not pick channels or fill in fields; you just describe what you want.
Send one plain message
Type the reminder as a normal sentence, including a time. For a first try, something concrete works well: "Remind me at 6pm today to move the laundry."
You do not need to phrase it a special way. The assistant reads the sentence, so "at 6", "this evening at six", and "18:00" all land in the same place as long as the meaning is clear.
Confirm time and zone
The assistant reads your message back and confirms the time against a specific time zone before it commits anything. This is the one moment to check carefully: if you are travelling or the zone shown is wrong, correct it now.
Once you agree, the reminder is saved and a real call is scheduled for that moment.
The full exchange
You: Remind me at 6pm today to move the laundry
ReminderIt: I'll call you today at 6:00pm (Europe/London) to move the laundry. Is that the right zone?
You: Yes
ReminderIt: Booked. Your phone will ring at 6:00pm. Reply STOP any time to opt out, or ask "what reminders do I have?" to see it in your list.
What you have just learned
That single loop, message then confirm, is the core of everything on WhatsApp. Every later skill, editing, snoozing, marking done, is a variation on this same short conversation.
