Set reminders over WhatsApp
Text ReminderIt like a friend, and it schedules the phone calls for you.
Not everyone wants to open an AI client to jot down a reminder. If you have WhatsApp, you can simply message ReminderIt in plain text and it will schedule a real phone-call reminder for you.
The conversation is free and unmetered, it understands back-and-forth over a chat window, and it works entirely in text — no voice notes, no app to download.
How it works
You message the ReminderIt WhatsApp number in ordinary language, and the same reminder assistant that powers the AI connectors reads your message and replies in chat. It is a proper multi-turn conversation held open for about fifteen minutes, so you can refine details across a few messages rather than cramming everything into one line. When you have agreed a time, ReminderIt schedules the call and rings your phone at that moment to read the reminder aloud.
You need a verified number first
For your privacy, WhatsApp reminders only work from a verified phone number linked to your ReminderIt account. The number you message from must match the one on file. If an unknown number messages in, ReminderIt simply points it to reminderit.com to sign up and verify first. Sensitive actions are additionally protected by a PIN gate, so nobody who happens to see your phone can quietly rework your reminders.
A real example
Send: "Remind me to take my blood pressure tablets every morning at 8." ReminderIt confirms your time zone if it needs to, sets up a recurring call, and replies to confirm. Follow up with "actually make it 7:30" and it adjusts the same reminder. Because it holds context across the chat, you can say "and add one for my evening dose at 9" without repeating yourself. Everything you agree in the chat becomes a scheduled call on your account.
Text only, by design
WhatsApp reminders are text only. There is no voice-note or audio transcription — if you send an audio clip, ReminderIt cannot act on it, so type your request instead. This keeps the free channel fast and reliable. It is worth remembering that voice is still central to ReminderIt: the reminder itself arrives as a real spoken phone call, and if that call is missed ReminderIt can send the reminder as a WhatsApp message so you still get it.
Free, with fair-use limits
Messaging ReminderIt to set and manage reminders is free and does not draw from your monthly call allowance, which stays reserved for the actual outbound calls (five a month on Free, seventy on Pro). The chat runs inside WhatsApp's 24-hour customer-service window and is protected by fair-use limits — burst and daily caps, a length clip and a per-conversation turn cap — to keep the channel healthy for everyone. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of messaging.

Can I send a voice note instead of typing?
No. WhatsApp reminders are text only, with no voice-note or audio transcription. Type your request. The reminder itself still arrives as a real spoken phone call.
Does messaging ReminderIt use up my call allowance?
