How to set reminder calls by messaging on WhatsApp
Text the ReminderIt WhatsApp number in everyday language and it schedules a real reminder call for you, all inside a chat you already have open.

Most of us already live in WhatsApp all day, so it is the natural place to jot down the thing you must not forget. ReminderIt lets you do exactly that: send a plain-text message to its WhatsApp number and the same reminder assistant that runs on the website reads it, works out the time, and schedules a genuine phone call for later.
This guide shows what to type, what comes back, and the two conditions that make it work: a verified number, and natural language rather than rigid commands.
The idea in one line
You write to ReminderIt on WhatsApp the way you would text a friend, and it books a real outbound reminder call at the time you asked for. There is nothing to install and no menu to learn; the chat window you already use is the whole interface.
The reply comes back in the same conversation, so setting a reminder feels like a short exchange rather than filling in a form.
What you type, in plain English
Speak to it normally. "Call me at 7pm tonight to take the bins out" or "Remind me every weekday at 8am to take my tablets" are both fine. You do not memorise keywords or a command syntax, because the assistant reads the sentence and fills in the details.
If a detail is missing, such as the time zone, it will simply ask. Always be clear about which zone you mean, since a reminder is only useful if it rings at the right local moment.
Two things it needs from you
First, the number you message from has to be a verified number on your ReminderIt account. That link is how the chat knows the reminders belong to you. If you message from an unknown number, it will point you to reminderit.com to sign up and verify first.
Second, it is text only. You type your request; there is no voice-note or audio option inbound. A sensitive action may also prompt you for your PIN before it goes through.
A real exchange
You: Remind me to call the pharmacy tomorrow at 9:30am
ReminderIt: Got it. I'll ring you tomorrow at 9:30am (Europe/London) to call the pharmacy. Want me to make it a weekday routine or just the once?
You: Just once, thanks
ReminderIt: Done. One reminder call booked for tomorrow 9:30am. Say "what reminders do I have?" any time to see it.
What it costs
Messaging ReminderIt to set or manage reminders is free and unmetered inside WhatsApp's 24-hour service window, with light fair-use limits to keep the channel healthy. The reminder call it books for you later draws from your monthly call allowance (5 on Free, 70 on Pro), but the chat itself does not.
You can set your first one up in under a minute at reminderit.com, then keep everything running from WhatsApp.
