15 Claude prompts for setting reminder calls

Fifteen copy-paste Claude prompts for ReminderIt: once-off and recurring calls, medication, wake-ups, bills, checking usage, and cancelling reminders.

Once ReminderIt is connected to Claude, the interface is just a sentence. But a blank chat can still leave you wondering how to phrase things.

Here are fifteen realistic, time-zone-aware prompts you can paste straight in and adapt. Swap in your own times and cities as needed.

Once-off calls

  1. "Remind me to call the dentist tomorrow at 3pm, Europe/London."

  2. "Call me at 6pm today to leave for the airport, America/New_York."

  3. "Set a one-off reminder for my visa appointment on 12 August at 9:30am, Asia/Kolkata."

Each of these gives Claude a specific date and time, so it schedules a single call with create_reminder rather than a repeating one.

Recurring calls

  1. "Call me every weekday at 8am to start work, Europe/London."

  2. "Remind me every Sunday at 6pm to plan the week, America/Chicago."

  3. "Ring me every 3 days at noon to water the plants, Asia/Kolkata."

For the weekday and weekly ones Claude turns your words into a cron expression; for the every-few-days one it uses interval_days. You do not have to know which is which.

Medication

  1. "Set a daily reminder call at 8am and 8pm to take my medication, Europe/London."

  2. "Call me every morning at 7:30am to take my tablet with breakfast, America/Los_Angeles."

  3. "Read me a reminder each night at 10pm to take my evening dose, Asia/Kolkata."

Claude sets these as recurring reminders. Reminders are a helpful nudge, not medical advice, so keep following your own doctor's instructions.

Wake-up calls

  1. "Be my wake-up call every weekday at 6:15am, Europe/London."

  2. "Call me at 5:45am on Saturdays for my early shift, America/New_York."

A wake-up call is just a recurring reminder at an early time. You can pause it on days off, which the recurring-reminders and pausing guides cover in more detail.

Bills, admin, and one more nudge

  1. "Remind me on the 1st of every month at 9am to pay rent, Europe/London."

  2. "Call me every Friday at 4pm to submit my timesheet, America/Chicago."

  3. "Ring me at 11am on 28 July to renew my car insurance, Europe/London."

Monthly and weekly bill reminders become cron schedules; the dated insurance one is a single call.

Checking usage and managing reminders

  1. "How many calls have I used this month?" runs get_usage so you can see where you are against your pooled allowance.

To manage what you have: "What reminders are active?" (list_reminders), "Move my 8am call to 8:30am" (update_reminder), "Pause my wake-up call" (pause_reminder), and "Cancel my 6:30am reminder" (delete_reminder). And any time you want to be sure it works, "Ring my phone now to test it" calls test_call.
