Keeping reminders on track while travelling, via WhatsApp
Crossing time zones? A quick WhatsApp message moves a reminder or sets the right zone, so your calls land at the right local moment wherever you are.

Travel is where reminders quietly go wrong. A call set for 8am at home is suddenly landing at 3am on the other side of the world, or not lining up with your day at all.
The fix is to adjust things from your phone as you go, and WhatsApp is the easiest place to do it. A short message is usually all it takes to keep your reminders arriving when you actually want them.
Why time zones matter for calls
Every reminder in ReminderIt has a time zone attached, using standard IANA names like Europe/London or Asia/Kolkata. A reminder fires at its set local time in whichever zone it is assigned to.
That is precise and predictable, but it does mean that when you physically move zones you may want to tell ReminderIt what you intend, so a call keeps matching your new day rather than the clock you left behind.
Two ways to adjust on the move
There are really two moves. You can ask ReminderIt to shift a reminder's time, nudging that 8am call to whatever suits where you are. Or you can ask it to set the right time zone for a reminder, so it anchors to your destination's local clock.
Which you want depends on the trip. A quick hop might just need a time tweak; relocating for a fortnight is cleaner if the reminder is moved to the destination zone. Either way it fires at its set local time in whatever zone it ends up on.
Doing it by chat
All of this happens in the same WhatsApp conversation. You message the ReminderIt number in plain text, say what you are doing, and it confirms the change back. There is no dashboard to dig into from a hotel lobby.
Because it is a natural conversation, you can be loose about it, "I'm in New York this week, move my morning call to local time" is enough for the assistant to work with and confirm.
A quick example
Landing in a new zone might play out like this:
You: I've just landed in New York, my 7am wake-up call is on London time. Move it to New York time while I'm here. ReminderIt: Done, your 7:00am wake-up call is now set to America/New_York and will ring at 7am local. You: Change it back to London when I fly home Sunday. ReminderIt: Noted, I'll set it back to Europe/London for Monday's call.
A couple of lines from your phone, and the reminder tracks your trip instead of fighting it.
