How it works

    Your phone rings

    At the reminder time we call your number and read the reminder.

    Missed? It's on WhatsApp

    No answer, busy or voicemail? The reminder arrives on WhatsApp right away, with Done and Snooze buttons.

    One more call

    About 5 minutes later we ring again — unless you've tapped Done. Reminding a parent? If both calls are missed, you get a heads-up.

What happens when

  • You tap Done

    Marked done ✅ — the second call is cancelled.

  • You tap Snooze

    We call you again in 10 minutes.

  • You miss the second call too

    The reminder stays on WhatsApp for whenever you look.

  • Mom misses both calls

    Mom gets the reminder on WhatsApp, and you get an alert with Call again now and Mute alerts today buttons.

  • You've turned calls off

    Your reminders arrive on WhatsApp only, with Done and Snooze.

Good to know

  • A missed call is one that isn't answered, is busy, or goes to voicemail.
  • The second call happens once, about 5 minutes after the first — and it doesn't use another call from your plan.
  • During the trial, if your number is in a country where calls cost more, a missed call isn't tried again — the reminder still arrives on WhatsApp.
  • Run out of calls for the month? Your reminders carry on over WhatsApp.

Frequently asked questions

How many times will you call?

Twice at most: the reminder call, and one more about 5 minutes later if the first is missed. Tapping Done on WhatsApp cancels the second call.

What counts as a missed call?

No answer, a busy line, or the call going to voicemail.

How does Snooze work?

Tap Snooze on the WhatsApp reminder and we'll call you again in 10 minutes.

Will I know if my parent misses a reminder?

Yes. If someone you remind misses both calls, they get the reminder on WhatsApp and you get an alert. You can mute alerts for the day from the alert itself.

Can I get only WhatsApp, without calls?

Yes. Send “calls off” on WhatsApp, or switch calls off for one reminder or one person on the website. WhatsApp reminders keep coming.
