Choosing the right voice and language for AI reminder calls
The voice that delivers a reminder matters. Here's how to choose the right tone and language via Claude or your dashboard.
A reminder call is only as good as the voice that delivers it. A warm, natural voice is more likely to be heard and acted on than a robotic one — and in the right language, it's more likely to reach the person you're trying to remind. ReminderIt offers multiple voice options and language support, and you can set your preferences through Claude or the dashboard.
Voice personalities in ReminderIt
ReminderIt supports four voice personalities: Gentle (calm, measured — good for medication and wellness), Cheerful (warm and encouraging — good for habit reminders), Professional (clear and neutral — good for work and appointments), and Energetic (upbeat — good for fitness and motivation). Set your preference in your account settings or tell Claude 'Set my reminder voice to Gentle'.
Language support
Calls can be delivered in multiple languages. If your elderly parent speaks Spanish, Hindi, or French as their first language, a reminder in their native language is more effective. Set the language per reminder or as an account default.
Hearing your voice before committing
Before setting up a recurring reminder for a care recipient, use Claude to trigger a test call: 'Test my mother's medication reminder now.' This lets you hear how the voice and script sound on a real call before it becomes the daily experience.
