Every ReminderIt tool ChatGPT can use

All 25 ReminderIt tools ChatGPT can call, grouped and explained in plain English, so you always know exactly what to ask it for.

When you connect ReminderIt to ChatGPT, the assistant gains a fixed set of 25 tools it can call in your account. You never invoke them by name, you just describe what you want, but knowing the map helps you ask precisely and understand what ChatGPT is doing on your behalf.

Here is the whole toolbox, grouped into three areas: managing reminders, controlling the voice, and looking after your account and the people you remind.

Reminders: create, review and adjust

This is the core group of eleven tools. To create, there is create_reminder, for both one-off calls with run_at and recurring ones with cron or interval_days. To review, list_reminders shows everything, get_reminder pulls one in detail, and list_upcoming shows what is coming next.

To adjust, update_reminder changes the time or wording, pause_reminder and resume_reminder put a schedule on hold and bring it back, and skip_next_occurrence or set_skip_dates drop specific occurrences without cancelling the routine. delete_reminder removes one for good, and test_call rings your phone right now so you can check a reminder before you rely on it.

Voice: how the call sounds

Seven tools shape the voice. list_voices shows the available voices and preview_voice lets you hear one before committing. get_voice_settings and set_voice_settings read and change your account-wide voice preferences.

set_reminder_voice gives a single reminder its own voice, and clear_reminder_voice removes that override so it falls back to your default. set_reminder_channels controls the fallback channels, so a missed call can reach you by WhatsApp, and optionally email, instead of vanishing.

Account and people

Seven tools cover your account and the people you remind. whoami reports who you are, your plan and your time zone. get_usage shows how many calls you have used and how many remain in the billing period, and get_recent_calls lists what has actually gone out.

For other people, list_recipients shows your care-recipients, add_recipient adds one and triggers a consent call to them first, resend_recipient_verification nudges that consent again, and remove_recipient takes someone off. This is what lets you set calls for a parent or family member responsibly.

How to ask for each one

You do not need the tool names in conversation. "What have I got scheduled?" maps to list_reminders or list_upcoming. "Move my 7am call to 7:30" is update_reminder. "How many calls are left this month?" is get_usage. "Ring me now to test" is test_call. "Read that in a different voice" is list_voices then set_reminder_voice.

Knowing the underlying tool just helps when you want to be precise, or to check that ChatGPT did what you meant by asking it to read the result back.

The boundary of the toolbox

These 25 tools are the whole surface. Everything ChatGPT can do with ReminderIt lives here: scheduling and editing calls, choosing voices and fallback channels, and managing your account and recipients. It always works inside your own account and nowhere else.

If you ever want to cut off access entirely, that is not a tool ChatGPT holds: you revoke the connection yourself at reminderit.com/api-keys.
